Message from the Principal

Dear Students and Parents,

Welcome to iQ! I'm Kris Diener, the principal at iQ Academy Wisconsin.

As a former teacher and administrator in the Waukesha Public School system, I know traditional schools work very well for many students, but not for all. That's why I'm so glad we're able to offer the iQ Academy experience, in partnership with the School District of Waukesha.

Waukesha schools have earned an excellent reputation:

Our 36 state-certified teachers have over 650 years of frontline classroom experience and over 100 years of experience in virtual education. They are dedicated not only to teaching online, but to guiding and advising our students through individualized instruction.
We have exceeded the achievement requirements for No Child Left Behind in each of our years of operation and are proud to say that we again made Adequate Yearly Progress in all areas in 2006-2007.
Our students score above the state and district averages in ACT testing and have been accepted at major colleges and universities across the country.

I've had the privilege of working personally with, and getting to know, the hundreds of students who have found iQ Academy Wisconsin a great alternative to the traditional classroom. As we plan for our fifth school year, I look forward to serving many more Wisconsin families.
